I have a piece of amber I found in Denmark that has a fully intact mosquito and, other bugs, from about 80 million years ago. It is my most interesting and strange possession, because it is like a freeze frame of time. In that second when the sap rolled down the tree and captured the bugs inside a window into the past was created. The mosquito looks as if it is in flight still. Amazing! The Prehistoric Models 3d that you can get below can make that amazing time come alive again.
Dinosaurs first appeared about 230 million years ago. They were the dominant terrestrial vertebrates for 135 million years, from the beginning of the Jurassic period, which was about 201 million years ago. It all ended 66 million years ago when some kind of extinction event happened like a big meteorite hitting the earth, etc.
The Prehistoric models 3d that I found at DAZ will help you to resurrect the past, and bring the Dinosaurs back to life.
The funny thing is the mosquito in that piece of amber I found has not changed in form in 80 million years. The mosquito must be a product of evolutionary perfection, sort of like a shark or alligator, which are also unchanging since our prehistoric history.
These cool prehistoric models 3d are perfect for highly detailed, ultra realistic HDR type animations and illustration. You can make any prehistoric scene you can dream of.
My favorite dinosaur is the Ceratosaurus: it’s full name is Ceratosaurus nasicornis -meaning ‘horned lizard’, because of the horn on its nose -was a large predatory dinosaur from the Late Jurassic Period -found from North America, in Tanzania and Portugal -coexisted with other dinosaurs such as Allosaurus, Torvosaurus, Apatosaurus, Diplodocus and Stegosaurus. -lenght around 6 to 8 meters (20-27 feet) and weighing to 1 tonne, very cool, and deadly!
